BEAR GRASS 1gal

If you are looking to add a touch of rugged, high-country elegance to your landscape, Bear Grass is the architectural gem youve been searching for. This evergreen perennial, a member of the lily family, forms a striking, fountain-like mound of wiry, grass-like leaves that stay green and vibrant even through the coldest winters. Reaching a mature size of about 3 to 4 feet tall and wide, it serves as a magnificent focal point in rock gardens or native plant beds. I always recommend planting Bear Grass in a spot that gets plenty of sun to partial shade; it is incredibly tough and handles our mountain winds and rocky soils with ease. One of the best reasons to plant this beauty is its natural resistance to deer and rabbits, who generally find the tough, fibrous foliage unpalatable. It is a slow-growing, water-wise masterpiece that brings a sense of timeless mountain wilderness right into your own backyard.
