Blood Orange ‘Ippolito’ (QLD ONLY)

The Ippolito Blood Orange fruit tree is an Italian variety prized for its sweet-tart, deep red-fleshed fruit, ideal for juicing or fresh eating. This medium-sized evergreen thrives in warm climates, producing seedless or low-seeded oranges with a crimson blush on the rind and rich anthocyanin-pigmented flesh. It flowers with fragrant white blooms and bears fruit from late winter to early spring, requiring full sun and well-draining soil. Compared to other blood oranges, Ippolito offers balanced sweetness and reliable yields, making it a favourite for home growers.
