Sweet wild flavored berry. Fifteen pounds of nutritious berries can be harvested every year from this 4 foot tall bush. Medium to small deep blue fruits are full of the sweet flavors of the wild blueberry that makes the best blueberry muffins and pies. The plant adapts well in cold climates and heavy snowfalls will not harm the willowy branches. Fruits ripen early to mid-season. Hardiness Zones 4-7.
The Northland blueberry is a cold-hardy variety, well-suited to growing in northern climates with harsh winters. It produces an abundance of small to medium-sized berries that have a deep blue colour and a firm, slightly waxy texture. The flavour of Northland blueberries is particularly sweet, with a hint of tanginess, making them excellent for fresh eating, baking, and preserving. Grows to 1-2 meters.
Supplied in a 200mm pot.
