Very compact with a free-flowering habit. The flowers are burgundy colour (reddish-purple) . A most suitable plant for container cultivation, for the deck garden, patio, outdoor dining area and can even be grown grown to trail in pots or a hanging basket. It can be grown on its own or in association with annual bedding plants.
It produces its first burgundy flowers on short stems. As these are flowering, it is already producing trailing stems which provide more flowers.
Once it has finished its first flowering, it may be pruned back to 6″ (15cm) and it will regrow and flower again if kept well watered and fed. This is especially useful if growing in a hanging basket.
