Elderberry Black Lace

The Black Lace elderberry (Sambucus nigra ‘Black Lace’) is a striking ornamental shrub known for its deeply cut, dark purple to almost black foliage, which resembles the delicate appearance of lace. This variety of elderberry brings a dramatic visual appeal to gardens, with its unique, feathery leaves offering a bold contrast against lighter-coloured plants. In early summer, it produces clusters of soft pink flowers that give off a light, lemony fragrance.
