Jurassic Park Bearded German Iris – #1 Bareroot Rhizome – Rebloomer

IRIS: Iris is a genus of between 200300 species of flowering plants with showy flowers. It takes its name from the Greek word for a rainbow, referring to the wide variety of flower colors found among the many species. A must have perennial, the iris tolerates wet, boggy areas and is very adaptable to a variety of soil types.

Iris Jurassic Park. With lineage that includes longtime favorite ‘Edith Wolford’ and ‘Best Bet,’ its little wonder this rebloomer has earned top performance awards. The broad, soft yellow standards provide a lively contrast to the deep lavender-purple falls. Reblooming varieties have been bred to produce flower stalks more than once a year, first in spring and then again in late summer or fall. Iris is a large genus with upwards of 200 species, which range from inconspicuous wildlings to the extravagant. Plenty of sun and well-drained soil with a pH near neutral are the primary requirements for their success.
