Plumcot ‘Black Adder’ (Plum x Apricot)

The fruit of the ‘Black Adder’ Pluot is medium to large, with a smooth, dark purple to almost black skin. The flesh is a rich, amber-orange colour, known for its sweet, juicy, and complex flavour that blends the best characteristics of both plums and apricots. The ‘Black Adder’ Pluot is a deciduous fruit tree that typically grows to a height of 3 to 4 metres (10 to 13 feet), making it manageable for most garden sizes.
