Mandarin ‘Sunburst’ (QLD Only)

Sunburst Mandarin fruit tree is a medium-sized tree, growing to about 4 metres in height, known for its attractive dark green foliage and abundant fruit production. The mandarins are sweet, juicy, and easy to peel, making them a favourite for snacking. This tree thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, requiring regular watering during dry spells and a balanced fertiliser in spring. It blooms with fragrant white flowers in spring, and the fruit ripens in late autumn to early winter, providing a fresh citrus supply during the cooler months. Pruning after fruiting will help maintain its shape and encourage healthy growth. Sunburst Mandarin trees are perfect for home orchards or large pots, offering a generous harvest of delicious mandarins while adding ornamental value to the garden.
